How to investigate and recover email with Pro logs, resend, retries and reports
When a member says an email never arrived, you need more than “WordPress tried to send it.” Pro keeps a full email log with message content, delivery status and detected source, lets administrators resend any logged email, can queue final failures for automatic retry, and sends visual scheduled reports.
Investigate and recover an email
- Open the Pro Email Log and search by recipient, subject or date.
- Check whether the email is sent, backup-delivered or failed, and which connection handled each attempt.
- Review Email Source Detection to see whether WordPress core, a plugin, a theme, cron, AJAX or REST created the message.
- Open the isolated HTML preview or stored text content when you need to recover an OTP, link or important message for a user.
- Use Retry for a failed entry after fixing the cause, or Resend for any other logged email that needs to be sent again.
- Enable the protected automatic retry queue for final failures, and choose daily, weekly or monthly visual reports to review delivery totals and connection breakdowns.
